Yeah, you read that right. Games that are a cure for insomnia. I'm not exactly talking about bad games, but rather ones that make you sleepy for some reason. One such game is Final Fantasy. That's any game in the series, basically. Now, I'm a big FF fan, but I'm not an RPG fan. There comes a time in every RPG where you must go around killing enemies in order to level up so you can destroy a powerful boss. This may not be the only reason, but eventually, you'll have to go around looking for random encounters. I hate it when I have to do this. I start to fall asleep after about 42 random encounters in FF. FFX just may be the worst offender on this, especially when you're attempting to acquire ten of every monster to unlock Nemesis in the Monster Arena, and then beat the creature afterwards. (P.S., mission accomplished. That was an uneventful summer.) -_- -_- -_-
So, what games make you sleepy, regardless of how much they rule or suck?

Playing Unreal Championship on Xbox Live for 3 hours makes me sleepy. But that is not because the game is boring. It's because it makes my eyes tired :P

I'd say Cardfighter's Clash, because I play that before bed every night :D. Lately it's been that or read my Astro Boy manga, I may swap out on down the line.

I have to make sure I'm fairly awake before I play Animal Crossing - otherwise I start to nod off.. :)

Playing RPG's while i'm lying in bed always does that to me. If i'm deep into the game i'm fine, but if i'm ranking up i'll nap during the fights :D

Maybe I'm getting old but ANY game I play nowadays... I start to nod off after about 10-15 minutes. And this includes GBA, and all console systems.
Maybe it's just that I rarely get dowtime, and when I finally do and try and check out a game in that time, my body goes "OOH! INACTIVITY!!!!" and automagically shuts down :hmm:

Well, Sonic Blast for the SMS/GG is so horrible it makes me lose self-awareness. That's really, really bad in my book.

Any Gran Turismo game. Seriously, I find them boring and insulting. For me, it IS the most over-rated game series of all time.
My 2 cents.

Yeah, that series is definitely not for everybody. I enjoy it quite a bit myself. But those endurance races... Ugh...

When I can't sleep I play Super Bust-a-Move 2.
It's one of my favorite games but after A while I get drowsy.

Top Shop usually makes me tired, either that or PS-X Monopoly (though I get about 4 hours or so in before actual sleeping happens).

Back in the old days, playing Track & Field was like real excersise, so I'd be tired after pounding those buttons all day... -_-

I haven't played this one for about 15 years, but BOOT CAMP used to make my arms tired. Anyone who's spent time with this game knows what I'm talking about, best damn trackball game I've ever played.
