Not bad and I learned alot about the game, more so than other reviews I've read. It's also unique to get a viewpoint from someone who's never actually played an F-Zero game before (gasp!). 8

8/10 (Very Good)
Covers all the bases. It describes the core gameplay without getting into excruciating depth, explains the basis for the reviewer's reactions, and details who would and wouldn't enjoy the game.
Some of the writing is technically a bit dodgy at times, and there wasn't any special kind of insight that sends my mind reeling, so it's certainly not perfect in my mind. But it's all good, even though it didn't "extremely" rock my world.

Comprehensive, but missing that spark that really gives a review it's impact. Solid 8/10.

Does cover most of the sections of the game modes.

Well rounded, nice job. Not amazing, but certainly ahead of the pack.

I liked the description of how friggin hard the game is, and it covers all the bases very well.
Nice little note about the AX unlockables too-some folks may not be aware of that.

Ugh. Yes, everything is covered here in detail, but it's all muddled and sprinkled with needlessly flowerly language ("explodes with gameplay", "special effects will blow your mind").
7/10

I could really do without the opening and closing paragraphs. There is enough information about the game itself and the review does a good job of describing every aspect of the game.
8/10

Hmm... very extensive. I like it. Ample discussion on all the aspects, plus it reads well. The screenshots are great. Needs trimming in a few places, but definitely an above average review.

One problem right off, with the futuristic racing genre (of which F-Zero is a cornerstone) so overpopulated, the reviewer needs to tell us what sets this game apart from any of the millions of other games like it. I'm much more interested in how this stacks up to all the various games that look like it, or why after years of clones should I come back to the original.
There's some good content here, but it's not organized well. Some of the language is a bit less formal than I'd like to see. In the end, I'm not really sure why the game warrented the scores it did from the reviewer. This review could have used more opinion.

I'll give this one a 7/10.
Very thorough, a little too wordy (maybe a paragraph or two too long), and the first paragraph made me think "alright let's get on with it already". Nice job overall.
