6.

Lots of good info, but lacking an introduction. To much specific information about the levels, and not enough about Popeye himself and/or differences between the port and the original. I think every port should discuss the differences between it and the original.

7 here. It covers everything, it's just a bit TOO thin. Starts out great, then kinda does the shimmy slide down at about the middle.

5 of 10

Very dull in all parts of the review.

The game itself is described well. I would have liked to see more info on the gameplay, sound, etc. Why is it good or bad?

7/10

The review is well-worded but it begins to read like a strategy guide midway through. I would like to have seen more information on the aspects of the game as well. A little bit more text about why the game received its comments would work very well.

6/10

Fairly good description of the game but telling me I can hit P to pause doesn't tell me if this game is worth playing or not. The writing is clumsy and reads like a bad book report. There are too many incomplete sentences and poor orginazation throughout. I think this writer, who seems to have contributed a bunch of Atari 8 bit reviews, may have spread themself too thin and should have worked on quality over quantity.

Score: 4

I'll give this one a tepid 5/10.

I've been trying not to read the critiques others have given these reviews. I'm not sure why this one made the cut, quite frankly. It's completely lacking personality and reads more like an instruction manual than a game review.

The review gets all of its points for covering the bases. Cover all the bases (explain the gameplay, graphics, sound) and you get 5. You got 5.

A bit of a personal touch would do wonders for this text.
