Overall, I thought it was a decent description of the game. In the beginning the writer says this is not his favorite version of the game -- what is, and why is this one not his favorite? No information about the history or future of Q-Bert, and too many sentence fragments got annoying.

Also, in my opinion, reviews should not contain the phrase "not sure of names." You're the reviewer, look it up! Don't send your reader elsewhere for information for the game you just reviewed!

"The purple characters are your enemies and their names are Coily (the spring-like snake), Ugg (the pig-like creature) and Wrong-Way (the sharp-toothed creature who moves upside down). - KLOV.com.

I don't care what your favorite game is. Sorry. I also don't think this review covered the gameplay well enough. And who cares where you borrowed it? Amateurish. 3/10.

I think Max Lords may have been a bit harsh there... I think personal anecdotes can definitely add to a review. After all, these are classic games, not the newest console offerings. There's obviously a bit more of a human element to such a review than a simple "game is good so buy it" approach.

But, it was not all that well written. Could've used better organization and a bit more info. 4/10.

Sry, I was starting to get overly cynical last night about 1:30 am :D

This review was pretty good, but I'm left unclear on whether or not I should bother seeking this game out. On the one hand, the author seems to say it's a good, entertaining game, but then some flaw is pointed out that seems to say the game is actually not worth bothering with.

Admittedly, I never really liked Qbert, but I was hoping the review, if positive, would give me motivation or encouragement to give the game another chance. It didn't.

I give it a 7/10.

7 of 10

Needed to be organized in some areas and some parts of the paragraph didn't make sense at all.

Why would an unorganized review that didn't make sense get a 7? Just curious, what did you like about it?

Tonight will be the last batch of "cuts".

If your review isn't locked at midnight tonight, you're entitled to the Digital Press subscription, and your review will be moved onto the main contest site.

Unfortunately, not every review will make it.

This one is getting cut. Low review scores from our judges and forum. Sorry! Thanks for playing though... there are lots more contests coming up :)
