I've always felt that this game was somewhat underrated, particularly in the Digital Press guide. I mean, it's like a decent version of Bravoman.
Anyway, the review isn't very informative, but it seems to have caught an amusing case of Engrish.
"Either Shubibinman recovered all battlefields before engaging into last stage, or you can choose your route to final boss."
For that line alone, I'll give it an extra point. 6 out of ten.

Whups. I was thinking of the second Shubibinman game, known as Shockman in the U.S. The first game was never released over here, and it is indeed terrible.

2.
Poor grammar, poor logic, poor review layout, poor information. How are the graphics? Sound? Is the game fun? Near the end I gathered it was a platform game?

It sounds like it's an so-so okay game. I give it 4 of 10.

Whoops forgot to add that the writer would probably feel like it was a so-so okay game and I would gie his review a 4 of 10. Sorry about the mistake. ^^;

Once again, what is the point of this? It's not comprehensive, and the grammar is atrocious. 3/10

Lacking. Even putting the sloppy grammar aside, there's not enough information here about the graphics and sound and how they stack up against other TG-16 games.
5/10

i have no idea whether i can post a reply on my review, if it is not allowed, plz delete my post :)
The second Shubibinman game is HuCard version as well, and it is again innovative that it adds shooting section, like second stage, u can shoot enemies just like other games e.g. R-Type. But no route selection this time, and u ar much like watching TV cartoon more since much more text and graphics are devoted to explain the story. This feature is further enchanced in 3rd generation, it is on SuperCDROM.
Sorry for my poor english, as i am not coming from English speaking world, i heavy relied on Words grammar and spelling checking functions -- yes yes i know it is suck, many sentence defragmentation occurs in my reviews, sorry for the time who are kind enough to read my essay :) hope someday i can improve much more :D
Maybe Shubibinman is terrible. but it is my first game in PC Engine (clearly remember it was 1990) and i always do enjoy playing it with friends -- game in 2 players are fanastic funny LOL

i admit my review layout is not intact and organized. I had learnt a lot from other gamers' reviews, especially high marks one, i really appreciate for their work!

This one is getting "cut". Low review scores from our judges and forum. Sorry! Thanks for playing though... there are lots more contests coming up :)
