I really enjoyed this review, and i think it deserves a 9. I think the writer captured how great of a game this is, and how it changed video games in his review. The screenshots were great (Chun Li can get pretty revieling ;) ) and i also liked that there was a littl code in there for good measure.

8.
After reading that I would have a pretty good idea of what the game had to offer, although if someone came up to me and said “shoryuken!” I would have no idea what they meant.

A bit more on the interface (on a game where that's ALL that matters) would have been nice. Not bad, but it doesn't really cover the game in heavy detail. More history on the SF 2 phenomenon woudl have been better than the "walk up to a gamer" bit which didn't really fly with me.

A well-rounded review, but I still don't quite see how someone unfamiliar with Street Fighter (whoever is left) would find SFII Turbo particularly remarkable compared to any other fighting game.

Made very good sense of how the game was and how it played.

Just enough detail, not overloaded with boring details, just enough story, I like. 9

It's a quick and relatively informative read, but some sections, particularly the first two paragraphs, need to go into greater detail. There isn't enough explanation about the Street Fighter II phenomenon, and as a result, the rest of the review isn't grounded.
Also absent is the reasoning behind naming the cast "one of the greatest in fighting game history." A few terse descriptions of the characters couldn't hurt.
6/10.

The review is good and to the point. The reviewer did a good job at covering different aspects of the game, however more detail is needed. The reviewer has a couple of good statements describing the parts of the game, but doesn't really back them up with information.

The review, while doing a good job on informing the reader, could stand to have more information. What do the backgrounds look like? How is the challenge?

Pretty good over all. Needs some proof reading and perhaps a bit more detail in the final "why this game is good" paragraph.

I'll give this one a 7/10.
Well written and concise, I get a good feel for the game's strong points and why it's as well-known today as it was in 1993. The writer seems to have gone over a checklist, covering all of the necessary aspects of game play, sound, and graphics. Quite thorough!
I'm deducting a few points because I'm not feeling the love from the writer, however. As thorough as the review is, nowhere do I get "what I enjoyed most" or "what sets this apart from others". In fact, there's really nothing subjective at all. This is important to me as a reader. I want to know how you feel about it, and why.
Good job!
