I finallly picked up a Network Adapter for the PS2. I use comcast cable modem to connect to the internet. I would like to use that connection for my PS2. I believe these are my options :

1. see if comcast will run a second cable line to my livingroom

2. Buy a router to split my connection in the office and somehow run the cable to the livingroom.

3. Buy a wireless router to split my connection , but not have any wires , but I am not sure how relaible the wireless connections are

4. use dial up

Is anyone else setting up the their PS2 in this way? Anyone else using Comcast?

Any advise on what routers are most relaible and easy to use?

I appreciate your help
Dustin

i have ameritech DSL, and i have my computer, my dads computer and the ps2 all hooked up to a router. works great. my friend has a wireless router, and he hasnt used it for online gaming, but it seems to work pretty good.

Definitely buy the router! Don't have comcast run any wires for you. They will charge you for extra IP's, installation...the list goes on and on.
