LCD monitors w/ emulation

What are everyone's experiences with this? My monitor has one foot in the grave, so I need a new one now. LCD looks to be the way to go, but it's my understanding that things really only look right in one resolution. Being that so many emulators use diferent resolutions, how do these work out?

They work fine. I have a 17 " and I just adjust the resolution in the Emulator to where I want it.
Just get one with a high contrast ratio and a quick response time or some fast games will give a ghosting effect.
