I hope this hasn't already been posted. I did a search and came up empty.
I was in TRU yesterday and one of the employees told me that the GBA SP will be released in Gold and will be bundled with Super Mario Bros Advance 4 (SMB3 for NES) for $99 total. Apparently this will start the Friday following Thanksgiving (like most other mad sales).
He made me promise not to tell anyone. LOL

Gold? Ew. IF it had a Triforce on it, and 4 Swords, I'd be ALL OVER it, but with SMB.....bah.

I don't know when this is set to be released, or if I even saw it correctly, but when I was checking the warehouse at work I saw that we had a GBA SP package that included the Mario Kart Super Circuit game and I believe a headphone adapter. Thought I'd pass that along. I may not have seen it correctly though, but I'm about 75% sure.

Yeah, Justin, it is there. The sticker says it is a Circuit City exclusive, though.

on one hand, I'd prefer the red SP.

I read a rumor at IGN a while back about a GBA SP/SMB3 bundle. But I don't want it in gold! I want red!

At least it's declawed.
Anyhow, I don't really like the color of this GBASP bundle. Awful color, and the buttons look odd (though probably appropriate) against that backdrop.

Just a heads up for anyone that's interested-- I was at Toys R Us today and saw the gold GBA bundled with SMA4 already on sale for $99.99.
