Megaman Bobblehead Promotion @ Toys R Us?

I read an article at http://megaman.retrofaction.com from last friday that talks about a "secret" promotion going on at Toys R Us. Pretty much if you buy a megaman game (undetermined what games) you'll get a gift bag with a tshirt and a Megaman (Legends) Bobblehead.

I went to the Toys R Us in Times Square NYC today and they had never heard of this one.

Anyone know anything about this one?

I haven't seen anything yet, but I am VERY interested in this news, as I collect video game bobbleheads and this would be great.

A worker for a Toys R Us store in Nova Scotia has chimed in about the product promotion, citing that the bobble-head toys don't seem just limited to Mega Man Trigger. There are also, reportedly, bobble-heads for Mega Man X and Mega Man.EXE. Could the promotion cover all 5 incarnations of the Mega Man saga?

Makes sense as Viewtiful Joe bobbleheads were out just a while ago.

What I'd like to see would be Ghouls 'n Ghosts or Maximo bobbleheads (though obviously we'd need to wait until that was released).

Well, they're out...only at Game Crazy instead of TRU. Thanks to a heads up from WiseSalesman I picked up a Mega Man Classic bobblehead, and they had a Mega Man Legends bobblehead on display. They would only get me one, and I'm unsure if there is a Mega Man X or EXE version. If anyone finds out any info please post here. I'm going to check another store this week. I'll probably end up with 3+ preorders for a game I'm not even interested in and have to switch to other games.

Well I was at gamecrazy over the weekend, and they had one on the counter, and I asked if they were giving these out with soem kind of pre-order and the guy working said they were only giving it ut as part of some tournament they were running. It was cool looking to.

I got a Mega Man X from GameCrazy. I didn't know they had different versions?! (My girlfriend picked it up) I will have to get the Classic version and trade my X version.

Yeah, I never heard of game crazy, are there any on NYC? Dam the chances of me getting one of these is slim to none.

Gamecrazy is a store within a store found in some Hollywood Video stores. We just got them here in New England this year, we now have three in my area (RI).
So now it's confirmed there is a MMX version, and I've got the Classic and saw the Legends. I can only imagine there must be an EXE version.
Hopefully that's it, and not a Zero version too. Post if you guys find out anything new!

Where in the state are those GameCrazy's? They are attached to Hollywood Video stores, right? I just know the one here does'nt have one.

I ended up getting a Legends one today, and will try to get the X one next week. It's hard because you can't see them through the box, you need to open it to see who you got. Did anyone find out if there is a EXE or Zero version?

Can you please post some images of your bobblehead? I really wanna see what they look like. I got the Viewtifull Jow bobblehead and I assume that it would be of the same quality (which was surprisingly decent).

For anybody in downriver Detroit: Gamecrazy at West and Allen has one left, not sure which, but I think its the legends version.

He was sitting in a case on the front counter, and I asked what they were for. Apparantly you can reserve any game for $5 and pick something out of the cases for free. I didn't have $5 or desire any games coming out, so I passed.

Looks ugly. I don't know about you guys but I've gotten over the desire to get most Mega Man merch on account of them being poorly done, usually.

Here's a pic of the Classic from ebay, he is much better looking, the Legends appears to be the weakest looking, but he's still ok.

Wow, the Legends one looks weird. I can send an e-mail of the X version. I don't have a place to host it. I would love to get a classics version.

The Game Crazy by me only has the X version.
