I'd just got into work to start another night shift when I noticed a floppy disk stuck to my monitor. It said -

'This disk contains
a screen-saver demonstrating
screen shots taken from
the amazing new
Saturn system from Sega

See reverse of card
for loading information'
(No idea what the 'card' is)

At first I assumed it was a wind-up, but I'm known as the games geek of the office so someone's obviously left it for me. I thought I might as well give it a whirl and sure enough, it's a Sega Saturn Screensaver. :) The software is quite primitive (written for Win 3.1 I presume) but it installed fine on my Win 98 PC.

I figured there might be a few Saturn fans interested in this so I zipped the files up and uploaded them here (http://www.webmad.co.uk/sega.zip). :)

I'd be interested to see what platforms it does work on, if people can try it out for me? ;)

Heh.. sorry.. probably a very English phrase :D... when you wind somebody up.. i.e.a practical joke.. I expected the file to be a virus or porn or something so I was actually quite surprised that it was the genuine article!

As far as "a wind-up" goes, I think that means a joke or something.

I hate to bump such an ancient thread, but would anyone still happen to have these old files? Link is dead. Got directed here from a Google Search, haha

I was wondering why so many people had that piece of crap ME running, didn't realize the thread was 10 years old. @_@

If anyone can dig this thing up, I can provide permanent hosting for it.
