Activision Anthology (PS2) $9.99 at Target [Archive]

Just got back from Target, and next to the new Midway Arcade Treasures PS2 discs, they had Activision Anthology for $9.99. I've been looking for this one for a while so I picked it up.

It was such a good deal, I had to spread the word. :)

This may be a "your mileage may vary" tip. I hit Target on my lunch break and Namco Museum scanned at $15.

Target is having a sale this week and all the GH games are $15.

This was a few weeks ago..I also bought Pac Man Fever(GC) for $7.48..and Robotech Battlecry for $12.99..

I went there tonight(down the street from me)and bought Rainbow Six 3,but they upped the prices on the cheap games..
(I was looking to get cheap games for gifts...
I didn't see any Activision Anthologys or Namco Museums left.
I paid $9.99 for the Namco Museum but my wife did have to argue price with the clerk..
It was on the shelf marked $9.99 but scanned at $14.99..
I saw that and said..WTF!!..
My wife works in retail so she knows how to read all that Bar code crap..
She took the clerk over to the $9.99 label and the numbers matched up..
So they gave it to her for $9.99..I don't know if this was an inner store mistake or a bad price in the computer..

Most of the cheap games are $20.00 now.
They still had several copies Pac Man Fever(GC) for$7.48

I still have the receipt..
But the prices may vary in diferent stores on games..I'm not sure.

I bought Starsky & Hutch when it first came out for the Xbox for $17.88..
it's now $20.00

So thats where i can find Midway Arcade Treasures. All of my Gamestops and EB's havent got it in yet. Guess im going to Target.

On the Target tip, my closest Target recently had a big remodel, and in the process it seems that all their great game clearance deals went the way of the dodo. Anyone else have this happen?

yes I have, ours redid the game section and I used to get PS2 games as low as 4.00, now i see nothing under 15 or 20..dammit.

I was going to try to ask about this at Target today...they had about 15 of them, but no price marker.

I was just about to ask...when I heard one of the employees say "Fuck the customers...I'm watching the game."

I walked over to Customer Service...

and then out the door...

That's what I get for going to a Target that close to Ohio State's campus...
