So I was surfing eBay looking for a BOX to complete my ROB, when I came across the following auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3058148078&category=3605&rd=1

It was sitting at 40$US with 5 days to go. I right away e-mailed the seller and offered him 100$US if he closed the auction right there and then!

And guess what came in the mail today!

So? how did I do??

Sounds good, complete Stack Ups usually end around 160-180 or more. :)

:eek 2:

I'd have to say you did alright. Nice score! You ended up with that for 1/2 price or less of what it should go for.

Sorry but I now have to report you for this.
And I have all the proof I need with your post here.
That is " unless " you agree to part with one small game from that lot you won. LOL

what do you mean??

Heck.. even people like Joe do stuff like this!

don't you remember when he had that family fitness pad + stadium events on eBay a while back and he pulled it off because he got an offer he couldn't refuse??

Some newbie sellers have an amount in their mind... but forget to use the buy-it-now..

some of us just help them..

for me.. it's a great find. For him, he sold 15 year old plastic for more than he paid for it brand new.

It's a WIN-WIN situation! :)

Agreed, but I do hear what Marty is saying, I had some auctions that I watched, but when it came time for the auction to end, it was done already (due to a good offer received before it closed). Oh well, you win some, you lose some, don't get too bummed out.

I'd do the same thing to score this auction, that is offer an amount to end it early.
