Ahh, bedtime stories. We've all been told them as kids, and not many people here can say they hated them. Bedtime stories for me expanded my imagination and took me to worlds I really wanted to be.

Many of you on this board are old enough to have children... what will you do when they ask you to tell them a bedtime story?

Write your own video game bedtime story here! Here is an example:

Can anyone say, "The Story of how Ms. Pacman met Pacman"?

It was a very sad day in Pac-Land. The Pac king of the kingdom had been sleeping late the night before (That drunken fool) and failed to realize that his beutiful pac-daughter, Princess Moronica, had slipped past the guards and ran away from home.

Now she was on her own, all alone, with not a care in the world. Sadly though, her name seemed to fit her all to well because slowly she entered the forest. Now, you may be asking yourself... what's wrong with the forest? I'll tell you whats wrong with the forest! This forest was inhabited by the ever so evil, the gutter trash of Pac-land, the miserable and Pac flesh loving... GHOSTS!

Meanwhile... a lone adventurer by the name of Pac-Man makes his way through the jungles of east Africa. Suddenly, he heard a terrifying scream he had never heard before. He knew exactly where it was coming from, and where to go.

He made up his mind, and he started packing/ He left before the sun came up that day. An exit to a chance to find a Pac-Mate, but where was he going without ever knowing "The Way."?

OK, maybe I got a little carried away there. Anyway, by the time Pac-Man finally made it to the forests of Pac Land it seemed all to late for the beloved Princess Moronica. she was in mortal danger, being lowered on a rope into a Cauldron of boiling water. Suddenly, Pac-Man emmerged from the shrubs shouting, "Hey you guys!" a la sloth from "The Goonies." Well, little Pac-Man came out swinging! He jumped over to Blinky, who was preparing his carving knives and popped him a good one with his whip. After knocking Blinky out he preceded to tackle Clide, who was lowering Pricess Morica to her steamy doom. Pac-Man lepted into the air ready to pounce, but Clide just took one step to the right, sending Pac-Man flying off the cliff on the opposite end.

Eventually, Princess Moronica of the Pac's was lowered all the way into the Cauldron and cooked until the meat was tender enough, then the ghosts had a fine meal. Pac-Man survived his fall and later married a Pac-Girl named, well uh, Ms. Pacman. and they lived happily ever after. THE END

What game bedtime story would you be telling your kids? Have fun!

OK, now you'r being a bit to extreme. It's perfectly normal for someone to remember their childhood. This thread was really meant for the father's on this board (There are quite a few). If you are a long-time user of this board you'd know that many of the fathers are trying desperately to make their newborns gamers, and I thought it would be funny to hear some of the so called "bedtime" stories they'd tell their children. It's a perfectly sain topic.

 ok sorry to get you all mad and all. Did ya parents tell you pacman bedtime stories :?:

Im a father myself. But i would rather tell my son about the real world we live in, instead of fantasy life. I dont want my son to end up being a 30 year old virgin sitting in my basement playing pacman. :agrue:

It's really no problem. I really wasn't that mad. No, I was told your average bedtime stories as a kid... this thread was mainly just a chance to tell a video game story like a fairy tale. That's all I meant by the entire thread.
