I got this idea from one of the DP guides... a list of all NES games that won some sort of award. I went through all my magazines and noted everything I could find. The resulting page has been added to my site, but you can also see it here:

Since my site has a bandwidth limit imposed by Topcities, it's not always available.

I was wondering if anybody had made a compilation like this anywhere on the net. Is this a WIP? Will you update it if people submit info from other magazines/sources?

This concept warrants some expansion; have you considered scanning the articles? It would add loads to the coolness of that section. On the other hand, it would add loads of bandwidth, and you already mentioned that as a problem...
Perhaps there is a generous site that would be willing to host you, on account of your obvious dedication.

Ooo, very nice. Must have taken a TON of work. What I'd like to see is a way to view the games by award. When I saw that Legend of Zelda was only a nominee for Nintendo's Best Overall Game catagory, I was very curious to see what won.
Dahne wants Luigi to stay away from her boobies.
I'll try to address all the comments/questions at once..
1. Thanks for the compliments! It makes it all worthwhile.
2. How long did it take? Tough to say, but maybe 3 hours? I was going through each mag to write descriptions for eBay, and noted award winners whenever I stumbled upon them. In real time, it was several years from concept to post.
3. I can't add scans or comments, as all but the Nintendo Power issues were sold on eBay.
4. Yes, it's a work in progress (wip). I have to get the winners for one year out of Nintendo Power 12, for example. Otherwise, it's a matter of finding mags that gave awards. My collection lacked an issue here and there, so it's possible that some awards slipped through the cracks. If you have an mags I don't please contribute! You'll be credited on the awards page.
5. Yes, some of the nominees and winners surprised me.
6. As I alluded to earlier, it really wasn't my idea. In the Digital Press Collectors Guide #5, some game comments mention awards. I just got carried away.
7. Sorting the list by award (rather than by game) is a good idea. I may do that soon. It'll probably be my last contribution to the site, as I'm turning it all over to portnoyd soon.
