Sort of weekend find - 11/23

I can't really call this a weekend find as I've known about it for quite a while and have been working hard to make it happen (literally, moving arcade games, kiddie rides, and pinballs by the trailer load as well as quite a few repair jobs).

But, after a lot of work and $200, I finally have a working Tempest upright sitting in my garage!! All original too, numbers matching!! Just need to clean it up and bring it in to my gameroom.

I just wish I was decent at the game, but I guess now that I won't have to go to friend's houses to play it, I will have a chance to improve!

Raedon, so when you coming out to help me break it in?? 8-)

Did i hear you correctly when you said you only paid $200 for it? If so that is an EXCELLENT find. I have been wanting a centipede, burgertime, or a tempest machine for a long time also. Enjoy that bad boy. :)

Yep, really $200!! The rest of the "fee" was paid with the work I did helping out the guy I got it from (he's a really good friend of mine).

All in all I have to say that those days I spent moving games and stuff paid off REALLY well!!

THAT is a STEAL for a working Tempest! The flybacks on those monitors go out like crazy! Nice score!
