Ship to UK only though. The seller might ship to the US if you ask him nicely, maybe he'll tell you why he's got a US release in the UK while he's at it.

He says it is a PAL game. Was this only released in the US or maybe Japan?

It was only released in the US as "Buster Douglas KO boxing", the UK got it as "Heavyweight champ".

I'm sure he's saying it's PAL because it works fine on his system, but SMS games generally will work fine on any system.

Or if you speak nicely to me, I might be able to arrange for it to be sent to me, and I will forward it on ...

Maybe he found a box for his game, that was the NTSC release.
Im a guessing also that it is the UK release as most people have the PAL sms in Britain.
I wish all people would have pictures of the manuals for their SMS games.

It's BUSTER DOUGLAS, it was ONLY released in the US. THIS IS THE US VERSION!!! I know it seems odd that the rarest US title has showed up in the UK, but if you watch eBay UK ALOT (like me) you'll see that for some reason there are occasionally US versions of games that show up there. I think that when the SMS crashed and burned in the US, some exess stock was shipped to the UK, and therefore, occasionally you'll see US versions in the UK.

And PAL & NTSC mean very little when it comes to SMS games, that's why I've got over 50 non-US SMS games in my collection.

And because our release catalog was way in excess of the 100 odd that only came out in the US ;)

Yeah, I got a US Moonwalker in a UK lot and I was surprised. I think you're right about the excess stock being shipped there.

Just wondering, is it any good gameplay-wise? I might actually bid on this one. :D

Wait... Buster Douglas boxing for Master System is rare? The thing was sitting in a local Goodwill store for months until someone finally bought it... I believe I will be attempting suicide shortly.

Well, complete in good condition, it's worth around $50-$75 IMHO (not to be confused with the worthless Genesis version)
Something you should definitely kick yourself over, but certainly not suicide worthy.

As for gameplay... well, 3rd person perspective boxers are never much fun.

Bah! It was indeed complete and in excellent condition. I had the thing in my hand because I was going to buy it thinking it was the Genesis version (It was only $1.75), until I took a closer look and realized it was actually for the Master System... that's why I should carry a rarity guide around with me all the time.
