I'm just starting to get back into mame after a 4 year vacation. While the games I play on it havent changed, my computer has come a long way. Anyways, I want to be able to map out the game to my TV and I'm just not getting it. I appreciate the help
thanks

Well, first thing you need is a tv out video card. Do you know if your card has this ability?

I wouldnt have posted if I didnt have TV-out. My main system is using a FX5600. Its set up as an independant desktop (stupid drivers wont let me just use the tv for video overlays unless I have it setup as a 2nd monitor). I also use a matrox g450 which I have set up to just take video overlays and map it to the tv.
I was hoping there was a better solution other than cloning monitors.

Ahh, you didn't specify if you had a tv out card or not in your original post. Easiest way is to use what I use:
http://tvtool.info/index_e.htm
Worth every penny.

OH GOLD MINE, thank youuuu. I remember running into this a long time ago but since I was using a matrox card, it really wasnt going to do much for me. This is one of those products I'm just going to buy, no need to test it out. Anyways, do you just have the software or did you get the remote with it.
I got a remote with my MSI FX card but its one of those things that is was just a selling point and not something that actually WORKS (after some register hacking and the what not, i've made some headway using grinder). But if their remote system works well, I'll grab that too.
I might grab some dummy monitor adaptors for my quad monitor card.

No, unfortunately I have no remote. Oh well. Yeah, I purchased TVTool at version 6.8 actually. It's one of the best investments I have made in the PC to tell you the truth! :)

well MAME was just an addition to my media system. For the past 4 years, my system has been a full functioning TiVo. This software will be a priceless addition to my system. thanks
