Paid for DP Guide via Paypal on 11 October. Received nothing yet. :o
Sent a few emails to Joe too. Despite assurances, nothing has arrived yet.

I am truly sorry. As I've explained in e-mails to you, the books are not shipped from my home in NJ but rather from our warehouse in Las Vegas. I'm sure a book was sent and we were hoping it would turn up.
When I got your latest e-mail last night I ordered another copy to be sent out to you. I guess this isn't exactly "restitution" but there really isn't anything I can do about poor postal service.
I pride myself on my customer service, I'm sorry you felt you had to resort to a public display to make your point.

I too feel that it is a pretty low blow to post this in a public forum. Keep your problems elsewhere and don't bad mouth "the book." Don't blame anyone here, blame the mail.

Wait a minute..
I think he did the right thing posting here.. it allows other people to join in and voice their concern, if they have any, so Joe can get an accurate view of what is going on.
Not everyone has the guts to post!
I for one got the book in a timely manner... but never bothered to complain that it was packaged REALLY BAD! I mean, it looked like it was put into an over sized envelop and the envelop came with 1/2 of it missing (i.e. 1/2 the book visible!)
I also buy books from amazon and they come in a box (rather than paper envelop) so in the future hope this changes..
Apart from that.. the book is great Joe!

That's fair, but we DID change our packaging after a few complaints in the initial batches sent out. While they're not BOXES, they've been shipped in bubble-wrap style envelopes and I have had very few complaints since.
And you're absolutely right, Leonk. I don't have a problem with negative criticism because that helps us with future orders and products.

I got mine no problem, and in Canada to boot. I believe it was packaged in a bubble envelope of sorts. Satisfied customer. :)

Same thing like Charlesaway. I got it in Canada inside 2 two weeks in a bubble envelope without any damage.

Thank you for the clarification, my last email went unanswered. Rest assured, if it ever appears out of the ether, I will return the first copy unopened to you.

DP Guide has now arrived. Thanks for the customer service on this one.
