I'd mulled doing that myself, so I can't say I'm surprised. Not much different than when I sold a bunch of Ultima Online items (and ultimately my house for $300 REAL MONEY) on eBay.

the auctions started about 2 weeks ago for some other items. INSANE, as this is the type of game that's NOT exactly hard to play or acquire rare items. i just dug up an NES with balloon fight today...=^P
