I think it would be interesting to get other peoples opinions on the current valuations of game systems.

For example: What's a Atari Jaguar worth? What's a 3DO worth? What's a 32X worth? etc, etc.

Now obviously valuations vary wildly, with some systems selling on Ebay for outrageous sums, and selling at GameStop for different amounts, etc, but I'm talking about general value. With one controller, one power adapter, and the RF cable.

Your standard core unit.

Here are my guesses:

Sega Genesis: $5

Super Nintendo: $20

TurboGrafx-16: $30

Atari Jaguar: $30

3DO: $35

Nintendo 64: $15

NES: $30

32X: $20

Dreamcast: $30

Sega Saturn: $15

Playstation: $25 (old style) $35 (ps1)

Game Gear: $10

These are just some of my guesses. I'm curious as to how you experts value these systems.

By the way, I'm not talking about the box, owners manual and stuff like that. I'm talking about the bare bones system, with just the needed cables to actually work.

What about the US Turbo Duo?
Do these still demand $150-$200??

There is no way that a N64 is worth 30 bucks, unless it comes with the expansion pack.

You can get N64's at lots of places for $19.99. Even less on Ebay if you get them with a couple of games, and you factor in the cost of those games.

Also, Saturns unfortunately aren't worth that much either. You can get them on Ebay for a song. Plus I got mine at GameCrazy for $19.99. And I payed way too much.

I could have got one on Ebay for 30 bucks, with like 6 or 7 games, with 4 or 3 of those games being decent.

But your other valuations seem correct.

I'm guessing that Duos go for like $125, or so, without any games. But you throw some games and stuff in there, and the price can jump to $200

seems that the NES V2's are 80-100

How bout the 2600 & 7800 and SMS? I'm terrible at putting numbers on things.

I still have trouble pricing the 2600. I think like $30-$40? I havn't had to buy one in about 4 years.
