I'd post the contents here, but it's 20-something pages printed. What does "doesn't work" mean? DNS error? Blank page?

Shhh!
Circuit City:
32" Apex TV - $199
27" Apex TV - $129
AMW dvd player - $29.99 (supposedly plays nearly any burned disc according to a coworker)
Gamecube, ps2, Xbox - free "starter kit" with purchase
all music cd's - $9.99 (I think original price must be 13.99 or less)
8 mile, bringing down the house, chicago + some more dvds - $12.99
Pac Man World 2, Test drive 6 (ps2) - $9.99
that's all I can remember after briefly seeing the ad on Sunday.
I'll be celebrating Buy Nothing Day.

I've had an Apex TV for about 6 months now, and it's been great. They don't have a lot of bells and whistles on them (at least not the one I have) but they are cheap and have a great picture.

@ Cuewarrior, no offense taken, I don't choose what the store stocks. And I'd say that for the money I'd save up and buy a better brand than an Apex, and if I worked in that dept. I'd tell customers the same (I almost always do when they buy cheesy off-brand controllers).
@ Keir, I'm going to try to adhere to BND, but they didn't plan that date real well did they? Anyone who wants to know more about BND: www.adbusters.org
Although I'm going to try not to buy anything, I'll still be an accessory as I'm pulling a 15 hour shift on black Friday.

I have 2 - 27" and 1 -32" and they are great. Good picture and sound. And 4 rca inputs with 1 in the front. Can't hardly beat having 4 systems hooked up with no switchbox.

I think CC has Best Buy beat on the Nintendo deals:
GCN Zelda bundle + free starter kit -$99
GBA (flame) w/ Mario Kart & earbuds -$99
Just my opinion :rocker:

And I think (from the flyer in today's paper) that Walmart has CC beat in regards to GC bundles:
GC plus the new Zelda that everyone's creaming over - $79.98.

There's no denying that Sniderman! But you'd have to compensate me monetarily AND sexually to get me to be at a Wal Mart when they open the doors on black Friday. CC will still have a frenzy, but nowhere near what Wal Mart will have.

If you go to Wal Mart on black Friday, you have to fight for your life. Ill probably go to best buy and get this Clash cd i want if it is 10 bucks.

Funny that nobody's actually posting their day after Thanksgiving sales here :D
I'm not going out there to fight with all the rugrats over post-Thanksgiving stuff. I'm also going to be waiting until after Christmas to sweep the Goodwill, too, since my B-day's four days after the 25th :)

Shhh!
Circuit City:
32" Apex TV - $199
27" Apex TV - $129
AMW dvd player - $29.99.
Ehh.. they had the 32" Apex TV last year for $129.99 and the DVD player is worst the newer apex DVD players. I was at Circuit city today on my lunch taken advantage of the 200gig 7200 8meg cache Hard Disk for $99.99 deal (still going on until tomorrow and not advertised.) and behind the counter was literally a stack of those DVD players and the guy in front of me was returning one as defective.

Well I got up at 5:15, headed to Fry's Electronics, and the lines were horrible both for entry and checkout. But got an Onyx (aka black) GBA SP with Medal of Honor Underground for $80 and a GBA starter kit for $13 (normally $30). Finally got back to bed at 8:30 and don't think I'll try it again next year.

I picked up a cheap TV at Circuit City, and I have to say, its a LOT better than I was expecting. Also picked up some cheap games at Best Buy. All in all, a good day for me.
