I think I'm going to take my Halo over there and trade it in, and get a bunch of games. I still love Halo, and I know that I will re-acquire it again in the future, but if they are giving 24 bucks for it, and it only costs $24.99 brand new, and you know it will be $19.99 soon anyways, might as well trade it in, and get another Halo 1 later on down the road. Heck, when you buy Halo 2, they might have offers where you get Halo 1 for free!


I know that I'm going to get Gran Tourismo for $1.99, I'm going to get Tony Hawk 2 for $2.99, I'm going to get Banjo - Kazooie for $5.99. And probably a couple of more ones.


Plus I think they have also lowered the price on some SNES and Genny games as well, but it's just not in the ad.

I've played through it on a friends computer and part way through on mine. If you've got a computer that can keep up with it (unlike mine), Halo PC is pretty good.

Boo to the lack of co-op mode though. What the hell was Bungie thinking?

Ummm... Circuit City or Best Buy is selling Halo for $19.99 new. This may be a today/til noon thing, but if it's a weekend thing, and Gamestop honors that $24 trade-in value, they'd be giving you $4 profit per game... that's nice :D

That is exaclty what is going on. Best Buy has Halo for $17.99 and Fry's Electronics has Halo for $17.99.

I took my Halo to GameStop today and traded it in for $24.00 credit. Then I proceeded to buy games with the 2 for 1 deal. TinHead for Genesis, Jungle Book for Genesis and Super Turrican 2 for Super Nintendo where all $3.99, so I got all 3 of them for 8 bucks. Then they had Spyro the Dragon and Metal Gear Solid for $5.99. So I got Destruction Derby for $4.99 for free. Then they had Turok 2: Seeds of Evil for $2.99, and they had Tony Hawk 2 for PS1 for $2.99 and Aero the Acrobat for SNES for $2.99, So I got those 3 games for 6 bucks.

I'm going to go buy a Halo for $17.99 and do some more trading. I need to get a Banjo-Kazooie, because Banjo is $5.99 right now.

Well this time of year you can almost forget about someone answering the phones, they are insanely busy till after Christmas. If I can't make a 15 min trip up there then I don't bother as half the time these places don't have time to look up crap anyways.
