What is the story with these two games:
Strike Force Hydra
Animal Snap
Both by A1A for Gameboy Advance
I have only seen these games for sale in a Flea Market and EBAY only has British auctions for them. Are they Imported games or do they just have bad distribution? Rarity?
Strike Force Hydra is a really good top/down scrolling shooter.
Animal Snap is a cartoonish version of Shanghai.
If you like old school games these are worth getting.

Those pictures are either pirates or European versions, because official GBA games do not have that same thing on the left side.

The pictures are of the British version. The ones I have have (Only For) tab in the upper left corner and it say A1A in the lower right corner in place of the Ignition logo.

Both games are official releases, published by AIA in November of 2002.
check out www.aiagotgames.com for less info.

Thanks for the info. Looks like bad distribution.
Any idea on the rarity?

I don't know but if you call their support number it answers as "Black Sheep, Inc." LOL
Their released titles include Animal Snap, Demon Driver, Dokapon (their first release, and only one not realeased in Nov. or Dec. 2002: it was released Nov. 01), International Karate Plus, Monster! Bass Fishing, Pinball Tycoon, Stadium Games, Strike Force Hydra, Super Dropzone, and World Tennis Stars.
All except Dokapon were featured in Vols 166 and 167 in the Now Playing section of Nintendo Power, if you're interested.

I've seen that Animal Snap at Sam's club a few months ago. I can't remember if it was one of the two-pack deals or if it was one game by itself, but in any case, I think the price was $13.47. They seemed to have a ton of them, and I thought about getting it but picked up other games instead. Don't remember seeing the other game though.
