2 grand's a bit high but not un3expected as NWC has been fetching insane price everytime one appeared on eBay. Why I'll bet by 2010, bid amount would send a kid through Havard for 4 years.
I don't know about the browning but I've had a few labels with edge seeping in like that due to moisture in the air. If NWC label had cheap glue, that could be part of the problem. Or are you going to start claiming every Activision with aciplague problem are really something spilled on and not a natural degradtion of a cheap glue? ;)

Welll 2K is a little high but he may get it.
I paid 4k for a gold and have seen the gold ones sell for as high as $6,500.00
Personally I'd pay about $1,500.00 for a grey. I do still need one.

I bet you could haggle your way down after the auction ends down to about $1,000-1,200 on the basis of no bids on it and that it's damaged. Granted, I wouldn't want a damaged nwc either, but hey, it's still a nwc....
I guess, in time, when I get the last two games I need, I'll start a grey NWC fund and toss $100 in it every month or so. Who knows.

Sorry for bringing this old topic back. I wish ebay had items available to be viewed for at least 1 year. Also, did you get dragon warrior 3, stadium events, and the nwc cart? I bet you at least got dragon warrior 3. If you got these, whered you get them from and for how much.

It lives!!! Mwhahaha! The topic ... of the dead.
But yeah, I capped off NES with both SE and DWIII at once for one guy. $400 for both, SE loose, DWIII complete and mint. High, but it was all I need.
You know, I'd have a grey NWC by now, if it wasn't for the Genesis. Of course, that's almost done. Once I get work again, consider it done. :)
