Actually, most don't-I bought 19 the other day, and all had $14.99 stickers on them.

My question...how do you know if your store is selling guides for $0.01, and do you need to buy anything but the guides?

All of the stores have the same 1 cent guides. The ones that I know are 1 cent off the top of my head are:
F-zero
Donkey Kong Country
Silent Hill 3
Soul Caliber 2
Wario Wolrd
That's all i could think of... most guides for games that are >2 months old will be 1 cent. And, also, you can just buy the guides (Or demos, if you find any for 1 cent). I bought the last 5 Prince of Persia demos for PS2, and handed the cashier a nickel.
