OK so it folds in half and is about 2" by 2" folded. It has the black molded plastic similar to the ps2 case. It is the oddest thing I have ever seen. Has anyone else seen this? Who made this?

Anyways, I think I paid 3 bucks, I couldnt resist.

ya, its really odd. I've been googling for quite some time to get some info and I'm getting no where.

I have a camera, but I'm having problems with my bluetooth. I'm going to try to get it working because I know it it isnt easy to explain what it is.

O_O

What in the world!? That looks cool, yet really weird at the same time. I have no idea whatsoever. What is the company that made it?

Thats why I had to ask, I have NO Idea. There are no markings whatso ever. I havent even tried if it works yet or not. I remember sitting there in the store turning it over and over in the bag (because it was closed, I couldnt figure out why a controller was made with just the top buttons). It wasnt until I got home that I realized that it flipped open.

Yeah, that's the keychain controller that was sold at Sam Goody's, FYE, and other record stores. The idea was to use it as a keychain so if you go to a friends house you always have a controller on you. They sold for around $20-25, I still see them around, they weren't too popular.

I can see why they never caught on, thanks for the info, it was driving me nuts.

Not to threadjack, but I have one of these sitting around in my trade/sell box that I've been meaning to get rid of. If anyone's interested in it, let me know.

nope, jack away. I'd consider trading mine as well.

I've been messing around with a few games with the controller. I'm actually really impressed with it. As long as you dont need to use the top buttons alot, its actually nice to use.

Hmm... I'm considering it, but with no analog sticks, is it 'really' a PS2 controller? I mean, wouldn't you need the analog sticks sometimes?

Roger that :D

Are these "official" Sony products?

no they are definitely NOT a sony product. I am really getting into this controller. Its only slightly smaller than the NES controller and with the shear ammount of NES that I've been playing lately, its great. So what if it doesnt have analog. Be honest with yourself, how often do you ever just slightly move the knob anyways.

OooH! In that case, has anyone seen the "retro controllers" (I think Mad Catz makes them) That are supposed to look & feel like NES controllers? I believe they have the analog sticks & all, a bit pricey, $24.99....Might as well go with Sony, save for the nostalgia

I've go one of those keychain controllers around here somewhere...I rarely ever use the analog sticks...so this thing was golden when I was working on one of my Tony Hawk games (I only need 1 accessible shoulder button to play that game :) ). I think I lost the cord though... x_x
