I plan on spending my pare time writing reviews for the DP review archive. I was wondering exactly how am I to submit my reviews? how should I send my pictures fo the review? what is the maximum amount of pictures I should include per review (if any)? and if I want to add my own little touches to the review like making some of the text in my review red to title the sections of my review like gameplay, sound, and graphics, how would I goabout doing that?
Thanks alot, if theres anything else I need to know please let me know, I will begin work on my first review tonight after my questyins are answered.

Hey, I've submitted 2 reviews to DP so far. I send them to digitalpress(AT)email.com . As for pics, I always send them as attachments, but perhaps the best option (Joe can pipe in here since I'm not sure exactly what he wants) would be to zip them into a folder, I usually send 3 screens and the box art myself.

Also, I don't know if they want the little touches in the review, but assuming they allow it, you might need some html markup, so check www.webmonkey.com for some brief and easy tips on that. Good luck!

Hey just wondering if it would be ok if I just include the links to the images I want. Like if I see a picture I want to use from ________.com i just send the links of the pics in the email w/ the review. Would that be ok?

That would be perfectly fine, though I'd prefer to have them emailed (in case I don't get to it right away and the link 'disappears'). Send them to digitalpress@email.com with the review. 2-4 pictures work best for a single review. I take care of the formatting. Everything else you need should be outlined on the main review page http://www.digitpress.com/review but if not, just ask!

Looking forward to reading your stuff. :)

Same here. By the way, the review page needs a star or something by each console that has a new review. It's too hard to find new reviews now. I meant to E-mails this to you, but I forgot. ;)

Yeah, it is pretty hard to find the new reviews, maybe add a nw section like "newly added reviews" and list the new reviews by date submitted and leave them on the newly submitted page for maybe a month. I think there needs to be some major fixing to the Reviews section...
