Number of games you own for the next-gens

Just curious. I bought a ps2 just for GTA3 and my only other games are Vice City, tony hawk 3, and GTA3)

I wondered if people were picking up next gen games in large quantites or like me, just a very select few.

I've got less than 30 for PS2- no other next-gen systems.

When I got my PS, I told myself I'd only get a few good games. I've got around 40 now, & they're all pretty good.

3 times, ouch. I had 1 breakdown with the lazer reader. The worst part about it was that it was DESTROYING my disks (I did a rental bait and swap, hehe).

I'm feeling alot better about my next-gen game list. I wouldnt have even have bought a system if it wasnt for GTA (I had the game preordered almost 6 months before it was released). When the game finally arrived, I didnt even have a system to play it on.

Mostly because PS2 games are dirt cheap, on average, compared to the other two in my estimation. I'm wondering if the massive PS2 counts are also a reflection of that or if the owners are just big PS2 fans? (The 'Cube is my favourite of the three, but I'll buy the PS2 version of a multi platformer in general because they're easier to find and I like the PS2 controller the best).

I scammed most of my current-gen library through my jobby-job as opposed to purchasing 'em, but my current totals are:

GameCube: 29 (I don't write about the GameCube much -- can you tell?)
PS2: 262
Xbox: 66

I used to get the PS2 version of a multi-platform game, but now I get the Xbox version. If I'd followed that policy from the get-go, I'd have probably 30 more Xbox games and 30 fewer PS2 games.
