Help with metal slug for saturn

I bought metal slug for saturn and it won't play on my system

I have a memory cart plus that allows me to play the
other import games that I own

Do I need a special or different cart to play metal slug?

The seller says I need a 1 meg cart

Can someone help me out?

Metal Slug is one of the RAM games, which means that the Saturn needs a RAM expansion to cope with the amount of graphics the game churns out. There were two different RAM expansion carts - the 1 Meg and the 4 Meg.

Unfortunately, if you have a converter cart stuck in the slot, you can't put a RAM cart in. Fortunately though, there are several "multipurpose" carts which will perform both tasks.
