I guess the biggest news is SDD-1 emulation, so Star Ocean and Street Fighter Alpha 2 work without graphics packs now.

Wow, really? I wonder how they managed that.
Looks like DeJap (http://www.dejap.com/) just updated; perhaps the Star Ocean translation project isn't quite dead after all.

Most work was recovered.
As their post said, they were busy with other things.
I moderate the dejap board, and I think that it is silly that people thought that they had given up, when it was not explicitly stated.
