Actually it use to go for around $40 used on ebay, before the GH version came out. It's a great game, not rare. Really though if you think about it, $32 is less than what a brand new copy would have set you back originally, so it's not THAT high a price for the game. Most used game shops I stop in want around $25 for it.

If you're going my eBay, 32 is about right for the -original- release of SotN. The Greatest Hits version is usually $10 bucks less, as it seems alot of folks hate the GH packaging and art.

I've purposely held out on getting the PSX release for when I mod my saturn I'm going after that one.

I doubt the price will be much lower, but to play Maria, I'd say its worth it.

i used to sell the gh version sealed for 50 bucks all the time. i only have one left, so im keepin it for awhile.

and why would 32 dollars be a rip off for one of the best psx games?

I just sold my GH version for $35 BIN. It was in average shape.

THE Best PSX game.

My personal favorite game ever.

I have it listed on that PS rarity list as 32, LOW ebay. I've noticed, for some reason, that the GH and normal go for about the same price.

i've got the normal. but i've noticed whenever a game goes greatest hits it drags it down connsideralbly.

Any idea on how many copies of the GH version were made? Whats the ratio of GH to Original on ebay like?

Theoretically, there are at least 500,000 non-GH versions, because until recently, only games with that sell-thru could be GH. So in any case, it's not rare. Simply desirable. Just through what I've seen in real life, there's probably about half GH and half normal.

At 1st glance, from a gamer's viewpoint rather than a collector's, that much for an old (yet great, I know!) game seems pretty steep. I got the GH version for $20 & wouldn't think the price would go up. After checking online I see $32 ain't far off & that's probably what you'd pay. I'll have to keep in mind lots of members are COLLECTORS too!
