Click to watch:

Super Mario Bros. 3 Beat in 11 Minutes (http://media.ebaumsworld.com/index.php?e=moSMB3.wmv)

It's like a 13mb file.

Obviously the guy is using the emulated version. He must have cheated somehow, cause this just seems humanly impossible. The best part is when he beats Bowser, lmao.

yep, old news. It was actually done by emulation and using save states. Ya know, beating a level, saving it, then going on to the next level and getting it perfect and saving it....so on and so forth then playing them all back recorded or whatnot. Ive never done it so i'm no expert on how it's done...how else would he have zoomed through the traps that the hand pulls you down to in level 8?

Well, I guess that could be an explanation. Any links explaning the process?

He may have simply played through the game over and over again until he managed to zoom through the traps.

There is a complete speed run at http://www.geocities.com/vectorburg/ (look in the Files section) in the form of an emulator movie that, if I am not mistaken, could not have been made by saving and reloading.
