Whats the better game for the GC, Rogue Squadron II or III [Archive]

I'd say that III is better because of the variety of gameplay and the fact that you can play the whole second game with a friend. If your just going solo then I'd recommend the second as I think it has better missions, also its cheap.

I haven't played the 3rd, but the idea of foot missions just really turns me off of the game. I want to play Rogue Squadron and FLY here, not wander around slashing imperials. There's other star wars games that do that well enough.

I have 2 and it is really good and I never bought 3 because most of the reviews for the game were awful.

U know that it contains the whole "first" game but with 2 player mode!
So why would anyone want to get the first eh?

....and nothing can beat battling against your friend with those at-st(?) mechs in endor-woods! AMAZING

Agreed. That's why I loved 1 and 2 so much. While what I have played of 3 is mildly amusing , I still prefer to fly. Now the reasons that 1 got so much praise and accolades are non-apparant.

I enjoyed 2 alot more because 3's on foot missions are really rushed and unfinished. I did however enjoy the levels w/ speeder bikes and walkers.

Are you saying that Rogue Squadron III includes the entire Rogue Squadron II game? In that case, I guess III is the way to go.

What's the difficulty of II and III compared to I. I own the first one, but the damn thing was so hard starting at like mission 4 or so. I die like 3 seconds into the mission. It was enough to turn me off.

Do II and III have controller-breaking difficulty?

not to forget that u can unlock the original "star wars" arcade game!!!!

Yep,it's hard....damn hard.
the walking-missions are kinda easy,just run and shoot everything :D
but the flying-missions are as hard as the ones in R.L.2.

I play it now for 2 weeks and I'm getting better every day.
and I also have to say that it has the absolutly bets graphics I've EVER seen on screen. unbelievable
