WTT: Super Starfox Weekend Cart for Genesis Blockbuster Cart

tere a pict of this cart out there. I don't know how many hundreds of lose genny carts i don't even bother to look at because the don't have the box.....i wondering if i've ever passed this up onetime.

It's hard to find for a reason... and we don't know that reason. Were they sold at Blockbuster, or were they trashed afterwards? Hiding in a warehouse? We have no idea. I suspect they'll be found more plentiful sooner or later, until then..

Here's a link to the pic of mine. It's blurry (I know), but I only was able to take the pics, then offload them the next day (my friend forgot the USB cable for the cam). What you see is just literally copyright info. The label does not wrap around the top. I have yet to open it either.

I want this thing too, I'd trade my starfox compition for it too, I've only seen one Blockbuster cart and that's the one Dave snagged from ebay...he beat me to it.

There *should be* three Blockbuster carts, but only "II" has surfaced from anyone I've ever met. Like Dave said, the others will likely appear one day from an unexpected source. Nothing this recent dries up so quickly and efficiently.

Also note that Dave's picture includes two of the "blank carts" from Blockbuster (green and blue) and there's a red cart from that series that also hasn't been found (see the Genesis rarity list "non games" on this site for more info).

Yeah, I took one Genesis rares pic, and called it a day. I actually did try taking a better individual pic of the BB cart, but it was worse than this!

I don't know if there is a I or a III. I think the II refers to the competition number, not the cart series. But more will pop up.. I'd just be patient. I'm fairly sure this cart came from those prepacked cart only lots that wholesalers have. I asked the seller if he remembers where he got it, and he pointed me to a wholesaler, who had no recollection of it.

I know a buddy who picked up a around 30-40 of those blank label carts from blockbuster closeouts, I bought the blue one for 18, he has a few of both, I assumed they weren't very rare...how common are the blank label games? I'll probably see if he has the green one still... and I would love to have that blockbuster cart is well... it's literally like the last genesis game I need... grrr
