Yeah, i'm bored. Anyway, here's how it'll go:

For anybody that still watchs WWE(wrestling), this will be done like a Royal Rumble. Anyway, I need 30 characters to use. I'll list a few to start, but I will edit the list for the other characters. Remember though, I'm using obscure characters. So, no Sonic, Mario, Crash, Samus, Halo characters.

By obscure I mean characters that most normal gaming kids wouldn't know about. In other words, a 12 year old may know Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal, but wouldn't know that the drivers name is Needles Kane.

Well, I'm a kid, and I know that name VERY well. It's not the Warp Rattler, and it's not M.A.X. It's the friggin' Vic Viper, the Gradius starfighter. It's too bad that people my age don't know a damn thing about the V-squared. And I can just imagine their look of utter stupidity when they're asked what the Lord British is! ;)

What about Elta, the hero of Magician Lord? Or Yohan and Ben, the heroes of Time Soldiers? And of course, Rick, the troubled young protagonist of Splatterhouse. I believe Rick's last name is Taylor.

@Alex Kidd: Paul, player 1. Vince, player 2. Those are the Ikari Warriors. They would later resurface as Ralf Jones and Clark Steel, respectively, in the King of Fighters series.

I have TONS more, but these aren't all mine. I must give credit to Dire 51. :)

And that soldier with a cold? Johnny Sazaki. I think he made a brief appearance in MGS2 also.

The prime heroine of Valis was named Yuko Ahso. Cham and Valna were the other two playable in Valis III.

The Vic Viper has made an appearance in every Gradius and Salamander/Life Force title, usually as player one's ship. The Warp Rattler from Gradius was a Vic Viper - in fact it's the prototype, according to the instructions. The M.A.X. from Gradius III is just that particular model of Vic Viper.

There have been plenty of other ships to show up in the series as well - the Road/LordBritish Space Destroyer (player 2 in Life Force, Salamander and Salamander 2, as well as being selectable in Gradius Gaiden and Solar Assault), the Alpinia (the third ship from Solar Assault), the Jade Knight and Falchion Beta (Gradius Gaiden), the Sable Tiger and the Thrasher from the MSX Salamander... the list goes on.

Rock on, brother. I'm also a Gradius freak, and I care not of what they say. It's the greatest shmup series ever. Gradius III remains my favorite shooter to this day for several reasons. :)

Oh, and let's not forget the... "ships" of the Parodius series. That's a pretty large list right there. :D

I'm also a Contra nerd, and I'll tell you that player 1 in Contra is Bill Rizer, and player 2 is Lance Bean. But you'd know this is you've pretty much explored everything in Contra: Shattered Soldier. ;)
