Contra 3. Best soundtrack, looks incredible, controls is flawless, and tons o' stuff to blow up. Also my fave SNES game of all time.

I'd go with Contra 3: The Alien Wars as my favorite as well, but Super C runs in a close second. Then Contra, and then Contra: Shattered Solider, then Operation C, and then all the others. But the only BAD Contra games were the two for the PSX.

Contra 3 for the Snes, Its the only Contra game that holds my attention.

NES Contra is the way to go for me. Then Contra III, Super C, Shattered Soldier, and Hard Corps.

I love Contra 3 the best (yep, even the dreaded overhead levels that everyone except me hates), Contra Hard Corps and Super C would come next. I'm just not that big of a fan of the original Contra.

i liked the arcade version of contra the most. the feel of it is just...the way i want it to be.

NES Contra by a landslide. Hardcorps and Contra Arcade tie for a distant second. I hate every other Contra game that has ever been made.
