After checking out the free EGM subscription I found another free Gamepro subscription from Gamespy. The gamespot one is gone so I figured I'd post the new one. Enjoy!

I signed up last time they ran it...never got my subscription though. :angry:

Nice find, I'm wondering what kind of other junk mail you get with these free subscribtions? I guess as long as it's video game related it shouldn't be too bad ;)

Actually, I signed up last time with a fake name just to see if that would happen. Not only did I get the subscription (weirdly enough I got two) but I also have not received a single item of junk mail with that fake name.

Yea I am getting that magazine for free also, I signed up for it a while back. It's a crappy mag though.

I got my first free issue about two weeks ago. It reminded me why I don't pay for a subscription :)

I got mine too. I was going to post a rant a couple months ago about the mag, but I felt like I couldn't do that in good consience since I was getting it free.
Did anyone else notice the blurb in the letters section about Virtual Boy this month?

Yes! DO sign up for the GamePro subscription. I've already gotten two issues from the last time they ran this deal, and I've not gotten ANY junk mail or e-mail spam from it, either (I used a new email address for one of my domains so I can filter it all out if the spam starts.)
Great game websites like this one are making print magazines obsolete for me. And it's true that GamePro's not a great magazine, but it's still nice to have something in print once in a while.

I'm not really one for GamePro myself, though it's the first magazine I ever had a subscription to. I'll see if I can get it back for free. (I did it twice, just in case one doesn't come or I can sell it to a cousin or something LOL ;) )

Dammit, this one is US only as well... anyone know any that allow Canadians to sign up? It's not like I'm living at the north pole or something.
... and why on earth do they ask you your country when they explicitly say three or four times "US ONLY!"? Maybe I'll fill it out and see what happens anyways...
