Fighting games. WAY too many fighting games. Street Fighter II and III, Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, Soul Calibur, Waku Waku 7, all the Marvel games (including the vs. series), Darkstalkers, Capcom vs. SNK, and the HIGHLY underrated Psikyo title Daraku Tenshi: The Fallen Angels. There's also a pantload more than that, but these are what I can bring to my mind right now.

Any genre that you've been addicted to as of late?

I guess RPG...but not in the typical sense. I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Sword of Mana on my GBA (the fact that my tv has been dead for more than 3 months may have more than a little to do with that). As for the "regular" RPG's like FF7 and the like, I still hate those very much.

Shooters.....HALO.....way way way tooo much Halo..especially since I have finals on thursday and friday. Almost every day we get 8 ppl together and link up accross the hall. It got to the point were we just leave the cable on the hallway floor and just leave it there all day...over night and everything.

It's impossible to play too many fighters. As long as you're playing good ones.

Currently shmups. I used to play a ton of fighters but eventually burned myself out for a while, and before that it was RPGs, before i burned out on those. So I've basically tried to branch out to other games, and play stuf other then shmups, lest I burn out on those too.

<---- will sell his ass for a 2D fighter.

I've been whoring myself on Mark of the Wolves, Sam Shodown II, (V when I get the chance to get to Manhattan), and Fatal Fury. Like Butta said, its impossible to play too many, especially when they have radically different engines. My attention span for gaming has gone straight to hell, so the quick and varied nature of fighters give me the gaming rush I need.

Shooters, too, to a lesser extent. If Gaoru's not in the DC, it's Mars f'n Matrix! :rockets:

I'm playing the heck out of Extreme Sports titles right now:

Freestyle MetalX - PS2
Tony Hawk 2X - XBox
Whirl Tour - Gamecube
Xtreme Sports - Dreamcast

Just two days ago all 7 systems hooked up to my main TV had racing games in them :)

Sports. Back to some modern classics....THUG, NBA Street Vol. 2, Virtua Tennis, and the occasional Nintendo World Cup. Probably gonna buy Hot Shots Golf again too.

Retro compilations. I'm playing Activision Anthology and Namco Museum on PS2, Midway's Greatest Hits: The Midway Years on PS1, and Midway's Greatest Hits Vol. 1, Atari Anniversary, and Sega Smash Pack Vol. 1 on Dreamcast.

I guess fighters would count, too. Guilty Gear X on PS2 and Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO on Xbox.

I've been overplaying Beat 'Em Ups lately, most notably Viewtiful Joe.

I've been overBUYING Rpgs lately. I've bought four recently, and haven't had time to start any of them.

Lesse, in the last two months I've bought and played:

KoF '94, '95, '98
Last Blade
Art of Fighting 1, 2
Fatal Fury Special
World Heroes 1, 2-Jet
Samurai Shodown

all for my MVS. THEN, on the pocket color:

KoF R2
SamSho2
Last Blade
SNK v. Capcom MOTM
Fatal Fury 1st Contact

so, I guess I'll go with the "Fighters" option :D

Arcade beat-em-ups. If you've been over to the review page lately you'll see the result. I've actually had to stop for a bit here because my right thumb isn't moving properly it's so worn down. Really.

This game called "gcc compiler". It's like a text adventure. You have to type up a bunch of "code" and feed it into the "compiler" and hope you can avoid the evil "error". It was fun at first, but then it became like an obsession.
