I got a SuperGrafx recently and tried to hook it up but I got no picture, so I pulled out the ohm meter and didn't get a current from the serial end to the rca video end, but did with the audio ends...so I replaced the rca video end with new rca tip and used the ohm meter to make sure that a current goes through and it does, but I still get no picture, even though my SMS av cord works in the place and gets the same reading from my ohm meter...what's the deal? I doubt it's my repair job on the RCA tip since I have done many many such repairs.

Do you mean that you did a continuity test, and it failed with the vid jack, so you replaced the video end, and then got continuity, but still no picture?

If so, do you have continuity to both of the video connections? I mean the tip of the vid composite cable, and also continuity from the interior of the video end to the serial end?

It works fine with a genny1/SMS A/V cable?

Have you even ever seen the system powered up?

I bought 3 supergrafx consoles, one of them would power up but no
video onscreen.
