I have asked this question before but since there seems to be a lot of new people I want to ask it again. Does anyone here other then Captain Nintendo and myself play PSO for the GameCube? If so lets hookup and play.

I do, but I don't play online since I don't have a modem for my Gamecube. And since I live in Detroit, that makes it kind of hard to play other wise.

:hmm: what's that got to do with it? I did when it came out but without the keyboard it wasn't much fun...I'd start again, but my GCN was mysteriously left at my parents house a few weeks ago.

If someone were to organize a meet-up EVENT - like 8 forum people or more - I'd definitely participate! This game for me is like crack and I tend to play it longer than I want to once I get settled in, and that's a bad thing. But something like this could definitely get me to fire it up again - and my Hunter's License is still active!

He lives in Pheonix and I live in Detroit. Makes it kind of hard for us to meet up and play. I just worded that sentence badly.

A PSO metting would be pretty fun, though. The only problem would be finding a place where they wouldn't mind 8 dudes playing games for 4+ hours. I know that the ball and chain would sooner stab me in the throat.

Either you're really confused, or I AM!

Phantasy Star ONLINE. ONLINE = via phone. Via phone = 8 people do not need to be in the same room. My recollection of the game is that hundreds of people were playing at once. If they were all in the same room and left me out then I'm gonna be pretty pissed that I missed all the fun!

HAHA! WTF?

Okay, nevermind. NEVERMIND. I attempted to clear up the confusion by pointing out that he wasn't going to be playing because not only did he live many miles away but he also didn't have a modem. Not having a modem would prevent him from doing what Achika was describing and not being closeby would prevent him from hooking up directly.

I should have known better. :frustrated:

I am good to play any night. If we did a group we could do it on Saturday so we could work out the time zones difference. Or we could play on Monday or Tuesday in the evening. If we play on Monday or Tuesday Captian Nintendo will play. Or he will play every other Saturday.

Chad. You can't play Phantasy Star Online "offline" with 8 people even if you're all in the same room. The "gathering" I was suggesting is of course, online. I saw that he didn't have a modem, what's confusing me is that getting 8 people in a room still doesn't allow 8 forum members to play together. See?

Reduce the pissiness of my previous post. Don't eliminate it, but it should be reduced to 50% strength.

I used to play quite a bit offline -- only offline -- before I got Phantasy Star 2 :D

if this is something to do, i am willing to go and buy the damn game and get started on it. IT's getting to cold to go outside anymore....need to it inside and play around!

that goes for any online game including ps2
