And I agree, she does look like a freak.

You have to be really sad to pay $50 for 5 letters written by some random girl. O_O

Nothing beats that one "Imaginary Girlfriend" package that was up last year. Included photos, letters, e-mails, audio tapes, small personal gifts, holiday cards, and I think even a phone call or two. REALLY detailed stuff. I was so impressed I e-mailed the seller and told him that was the most creative auction I'd ever seen.

Why can't *I* ever think of anything like that? LOL

Hum, maybe you'd be willing to send me a few letters, QOF? So I can get my parents to stop nagging me about not having a girlfriend? :D Like it's my fault I've been swamped with work and school and all the women I meet seem to be taken.....

Who says you have to think of it? Just offer the same thing for $5 less.

So Ebay thinks it's cool for people to sell stupid demeaning shit like this but will not allow the sale of high capacity handgun magazines or game conversion adapters?

I really hate Ebay, yet I'm forced to use them because they're the only outlet where I can sell some of my stuff.

This catch-22 stuff really pisses me off.

Handguns & weapon sales can be illegal depending on where you live. And they're definately dangerous if the wrong people get their hands on them. Are to believe that sellers on ebay are going to do a proper background check on their buyers before they sell this stuff?

And depending on the adaptor they may be illegal as well depending on what they do.

This auction on the other hand isn't illegal or dangerous. Just kind of pathetic. LOL

First off, I was only referring to the magazines, NOT the actual firearms. Magazines cannot be considered to be dangerous because without the correct handgun to chamber the cartridges, there's no way for you to make use of the magazine. The same rule of thumb applies to most semi-automatic, magazine fed firearms. (Well, you can chamber a single cartridge into the barrel while the slide is open but it totally defeats the purpose of using the semi-auto firearm since it's supposed to have a magazine attached.)

Sure, in some states, having any hi-capacity magazine that holds over 10 cartridges for any type of firearm is illegal, but if you've owned those magazines BEFORE they were banned, they're totally legal for you to own.

To tell the truth, I really don't care who buys the hi-capacity magazine(s) from me since all I want is my money's worth from the product I sell. Besides, if someone had bad intentions on buying something allegedly 'illegal' like hi-cap mags, do you really think they'd wait for an Ebay auction to run it's course? Probably not. They'd just buy what they need from the black market or off the street.

Before you start thinking that I'm some heartless man with no remorse, that's far from the truth. I just agree with a creative saying: "Guns don't kill people, People kill people."

As for the adapter, are there states where it's considered illegal to own or use one? I have yet to hear of such a law.
