Now, I don't have print run numbers or anything, but I noticed today that Go! Go! Hypergrind has dropped to a meager $20 at my local Gamestop, as well as the online store. It's one of the fastest price drops I've ever seen, as it was released at $50 around November 11th. As of this post, EBGames is still priced at $50.

Just a heads up for you all, we just might have another Cubivore on our hands...

Oh yeah, Cubivore was an Atlus title as well! :D

I've been meaning to pick this up anyway, as it just looks like it'd be pretty fun, but now I guess I'll snatch it up first chance I get. Thanks for the price drop notice!

Atlus titles tend to do that, which makes me wonder how Atlus stays in business. I really like them, though, so I wouldn't care if it's magic pixie dust that keeps them funded... Just as long as they don't run out.

I picked mine up about a week ago at my work (GameStop), Go! Go! Hypergrind was stickered $50.00 but rang up $19.99. I am not taking any chances with this awesome game.

I had Cubivore in my work for about a month when it was released but never bought one, I am still kicking my self in the ass for that one. So learn from my mistake (I know I have) and pick up Go! Go! Hyper Grind, especially for only $20.00 you can't go wrong. Plus this game is awesome, I played Go! Go! back at E3 this year, really cool game. I LOVE Go! Go! Hypergrind :D :D :D

Game On,

Didn't you see Space Channel 5 Collection? It dropped from $30 to $20 in less than a week. Thanks for the tip, I've got to work this weekend so I'll pick it up (haven't been to work in 2 weeks)

What about RTX Red Rock? That bastard dropped from $50 to $20 the same week it was released, IIRC. It's only like $10 now... LOL

I guess I missed Space Channel, looks like I'll have to pick it up. Thanks! :)

So how much does a cubivore go for usually?

True. Also Sylentwulf mentioned a while back that he ordered it online for $11.99, I forget the site.

*adds Go Go Hypergrind to long list of titles to pick up asap*

It's got very mixed reviews overall.

As high as 7.9 from GameSpot to 3 from GameSpy.

I'm not implying that you didn't already know this, but you've got to keep in mind that the 3 from Gamespy is on a 5-scale, making it about a 6 on a 10 scale when converted. So a 6 on a 10-scale is "above-average" and that's much better than some of the rare games that are just garbage to play.

I have a friend that think anything that gets a 7 or below is utter trash...moron.

I feel it's worth noting that the characters in the game were designed by Spumco, the animation studio that brought us Ren & Stimpy. You can definitely see the influence... they geniunely do look like Spumco characters, especially the disgruntled monkey and the kid in the bunny costume.

I played a little of Go! Go! Hypergrind at a K-Mart demo kiosk and I was impressed with it. I'm not sure if it's got much in the way of depth, but the control is solid and the graphics are knock-out awesome. Someone finally managed to make a cel-shaded video game that really DOES look like a cartoon!

I actually did NOT know this... thanks for clearing that up! I just did a quick peek at the gamerankings.com page. Should've checked closer!

PS I picked up my copy, looks pretty good but I'll give it some quality time tomorrow nite.
