Yo man I whuz just h00ked up wit sum phat dealz for the PS2!
My main man Steve, who works at EB Game World, hooked me with some awesome discounts.
PS2 System - 200.00
Memory Card - 22 (Down from 25)
Extra Controller - 18 (Down from 25)
Grand Theft Auto 3 - Complete/Used - 45
Metal of Honor: Frontline - Complete/Used - 32 (Down from 45!!)
Devil May Cry - Complete/Used - 25 (Down from 40)
Zone of the Enders - Manual/ZOE Disk (No MGS Demo >/) - 17

Kess, just 3 weeks ago I got a PS2 in the box brand new for $99.99.. now thats a good deal. I got FF X for 19.99.. and thats an ok deal.. at no time do you see the word "phat" when your just buying things regular price. that's just shopping retail.

GTA III new retails for $39.99 at many stores.
ZOE is $19.99 new everywhere, except for Target, who had it for $17.88 or something like that.
I bought Devil May Cry for $19.99 new too.
You might want to steer clear of that Steve guy and just flip through the newspaper advertisements every now and then. They'll have much phatter deals than Steve.

I know we're all being mean Kess, but you gotta shop around before you buy. PS2 has been under $200 for quite a while, ZOE has ben under $20 for a long while. The other price drop happened around a month ago or so.

yea, you can take back all items at 95% of retail chains for full cash refund up to 7 days after a purchase. I would suggest taking everything back and tell him the reasons you won't be shopping at his store anymore.

.. and if you want to know why we are getting upset it's because you have had months of training here at digital press for the real world game hunt. Now we see that you still have much to learn and I for one don't know why you even bother posting sometimes. If anything you should be trying to save every quarter because your young and broke. I know i did when i was your age. hell, now I'm 29, single, and making good money and I get upset if I had to pay $5 for an Adventure Island or Kid Ikarus..

and radeon kid icarus is worth 5, no doubt. its one of the best games all time.

This is the reason you caught all the attitude mosty.. If you just said something like, "I baught a new ps2 and some games.. seems cool." then everyone would have been like, "yea they are cool, I paid 299.99 for mine and it was worth it."

One thing you have to learn Kess is people are misleading. Very rarely will you find an honest person in life who will try and "H00k U up" with "P|-|AT Deals". As they said, shop around, classified adds are your best bet.

BTW, why pay so much for a used copy of GTA3, when it sells new for that price or less, and when it will certainly be added to Sony's Greatest Hits collection sooner or later, thus at a low price tag?

You're online, so at the least, if you plan on going out and spending THREE OR FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS, just stop by ebworld.com or bestbuy.com or SOMETHING, just to see what the prices are like, then when you go there and someone offers to sell you things at MORE than retail price, you won't buy it, plain and simple.
