Anyone have empty PS2, Xbox cases? [Archive]

NOT DVD cases, and definitely NOT Blockbuster cases. I'm looking to replace them with bona fide original boxes.

Can anyone here get their hands on a few of each for me? I'll gladly cover shipping and extra for the cases themselves.

Have you checked on E-bay? I got a lot of X-Box cases (20 or so) for like $10 a while back.

you just about have to result to ebay, or for ps2 you could buy the jampacks. Otherwise you almost always end up with cracked cases and scuffed up windows on them and stuff like that. but i'm sure you can get that with the jampack cases.......just depends exactly what you're lookin for......i'm super picky though, the case has to look nicer than the game 8-)

You could just go into blockbuster and ask for some. Peopel do that at my store with DVD cases all the time, I don't suppose it would be any different with the PS2, Xbox, or Gamecube boxes we throw away all the time.

I have checked eBay, in fact, and determined that $10 plus shipping for 20 empty cases was a rip-off :)

Check out Best Buy. They have an X-Box Lucas Arts demo for a penny. Mine has about ten or so left if you would like me to snag em. Let me know.

Oh, and you may want to check for any other demos. I got 5 Pronce of Persia PS2 ones for 1 cent each (Plus a cornicopia of guides) for a total of $0.24 :D

that are empty off the shelf.

I Suppose You Mean the Green Xbox ones, Blue PS2 Ones, etc. I know you can buy similar color cases that look EXACTLY the same color as the PS2 and Xbox counterparts, but I doubt you'd want them.

Much as they sell games in rental cases, it's typically because they don't want to take the time to rematch cases with games.

I suggest you ask the people at your local Blockbuster for cases- they will typically give them up for free. Ask the manager- tell them you buy games from them and just need the original cases. They may be willing to help.
