I was curious if anyone wanted to part with their sweet nothings in their accounts and or their account. The items would go to great use, as I'm an avid player of this game.

Now, back to buisiness.

If anyone has accounts and can contact me on AIM [Phantom Kess] you will have my largest gratitude. I will be away for the next 45 mins or so but leave a message and I'll get back to you, if you are still on.

Don't have AIM? Not a problem! digitalkess [at] msn.com is my email. I put the [at] instead of @ to prevent spambots from attacking me by scanning the webpage.

Thanks guys for helping, and keep on gaming.

i haven't played in a while thanks to the price hike, but I don't have very much anyway. The best I'd be able to offer is my gold hammer. And who knows? I might want to play again some day.

I want to play it badly, but the damned game won't run on my PC! So odd!

A gold hammer would be - dare I say it - Ultimate.

If you might play again though, that's alright. But if not, gift me that bad baby:

Kess0r is my gunbound name.

They started charging money for GunBound? I saw that coming when it was still catching on in my dorms. Everyone was playing it .. then the trend started waning. Something bothered me about that game; it was an attempt to take something simple like 'base wars' or 'scorched earth' and make it .. way too complex .. making it into a massively multiplayer game was a bad idea. Also, playing the game for awhile would make me feel .. odd. Like it was farrrr less productive than playing something else, strangely enough.

Also, the people were all antisocial. Once I connected I was called a "stupid queer jew-nigger". Racial and ethnic slurs annoy me to begin with, but seeing as my roommate is black, and my friend who is often in the room is Jewish, I have a definite problem with those words popping up on my screen. I also saw a lot of a/s/l checks, it reminded me too much of AOL. I've also come to the conclusion that near everyone playing that damn game is 13 and has just discovered the art of excessive swearing.

Stats also meant too much .. the game's origins were skill-- knowing enough physics to calculate your moves perfectly in your head. The game threw in golden hammers and various other bull like avatars that made you near-invincible, and weapons that made you deal 3x as much damage as a newbie..

Plus, it used around 250 MB of my HDD space better spent on something I enjoyed more ...like Worms World Party. ;)

Nice post Epic.

There are a lot of racist bastards on Gunbound, that's no lie, but hey, there probably are in all MMOGames.

They aren't charging for Gunbound per se, they are giving you the option to paypal them money to get "Cash" which buys items quicker.

Example: Let's say the Golden Hammer is 70,000 gold. If you buy cash, it's only 7000 cash. It's like 1 dollar = 1,000 cash.

No way, I'm not paying with cash 8-)

So Epic, did you have any items? :P
