View Full Version : Should I sell this PS1 stuff in a lot or break it up?

I have a PSone unit, that I'm going to list on Ebay. It's the little version of the PSone. It comes with the power adapter, video cable, and one dual shock controller.

Now, I also have some individual PS1 games. I'm trying to figure out, which of these PS1 games I should include with the system and which I should sell individually.

Here are the games:

Resident Evil: Directors Cut - Greatest Hits version - complete
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Greatest Hits version - complete
Madden NFL '98 - loose cd
Destruction Derby - loose cd
Madden NFL '97 - loose cd
Oddworld Abe's Oddysee - Greatest Hits version - missing manual
Tony Hawk Pro Skater - complete
Wipeout - loose cd
Metal Gear Solid - Greatest Hits version - missing manual
Tekken 3 - loose cd
Mega Man Legends - loose cd
Spyro the Dragon - loose cd
Crash Bandicoot 2 - loose cd

Now, I know that I should definitely sell Castlevania individually, but what other games whould I definitely sell individually?

I'm trying to maximize the amount of cash that I get for all this stuff, and I don't mind having to break everything up.

I would like to keep about 4 or 5 games with the system itself. I'm thinking that Tony Hawk 1, and Madden '97 should definitely go with the system. Then I need to figure out another 3 games to pack with the system. The rest would probably get more money being auctioned off individually.

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

If it were me (it ain't) I'd package the loose games with the system and sell the complete ones by themselves.

Other than Castlevania are any of them really rare or worth anything?

You have to give buyers a reason to want your console over the dozens of others for sale ay any given time. I'd probably sell Castlevania separately and bundle the rest with the console.

Ditto.

Or, auction a few games with the system (I'd say Spyro, Tekken 3 and Madden '97 for a good mix) and offer to add the rest for a small additional fee -- if the winner declines, then auction off that ready-made lot. And definitely auction Castlevania (and maybe RE2) by itself no matter what.
