I can't find any current information on this company. Back in the NES and Arcade days they made some great games. I can recall they made some SNES games and I think at least one PlayStation game, and they were susposed to make a N64 game. But last I heard from them was around 1997. Did they go out of business? If so, who has their rights? I'd love to see a modern Clash at Demonhead or Conflict game....

No idea what happened to them, but at one time they were working on a Golgo 13 game for the N64 :eek 2: Hearing of it's cancellation was the biggest videogame disappointment ever for me...

Same here! I was really bummed when I found out this game was canned. Was one of the reasons why I got a n64 in the first place. Does anyone know if it was ever started? If so, are there any screen shots or descriptions of it anywhere?
BTW, wasn't there a Golgo 13 game released in Japan for the Playstation?

Vic Tokai = animation house. I believe they did all the digitized acting for Shin Shinobi Den, also known as Shinobi Legions/Shinobi X (basically, the Saturn's Shinobi).

From the Saturn games I own, they also did Criticom & Valora Valley Golf.

There was, though it's more of an interactive manga than a game. There's a killer arcade game from a couple of years ago as well, will a full-on sniper gun attachment. Someone was selling one on eBay for awhile. If I had the space I probably would have charged it! As for the N64 game, IGN reported back in 1997 that the game was 3/4 complete according to Vik Tokai. I've never seen any screenshots or movies though...

I've heard of it, but never seen one. I've been in quite a few Japanese arcades in my day too, but alas, no vintage Golgo 13 stand-up. I'd love to find one someday, and with my fanaticism, I'd probably purcahse it. I'm kicking myself now for not picking up that newer cabinet, but I'm pretty sure I'll find another one in the next year or so.

Hey! I'll second that motion for a new Conflict game! We need Ultra Conflict!

The KLOV entry indicates 1984 (which I believe was before the JAMMA standard was introduced, anyway...KLOV, fallable? naaah...) whereas the flyer is dated 2001.
There are actually three different Golgo 13 sniper-gun games. All of them on PS1-based arcade hardware, and all developed by 8in/Raizing and published by Namco. I somehow doubt that there is actually a 1984 Golgo 13 arcade game.
Vic Tokai also did Battle Mania (Trouble Shooters) and Time Dominator (Socket) on the Megadrive...wouldn't mind seeing a sequel/update to either of those, myself. :)

Yeah, that's definitely the more modern version. Great fun, IMO.
