Whew! I'm glad to see so many people with multiple monitors and TV's on in their homes. We've had guests that don't quite grasp that concept.

- main TV (bigscreen) in basement family room
- 2 monitors in game room
- 2 PC monitors in office
- TV in master bedroom
- TV in living room
- 2 TV's in upstairs bedroom (quickly getting known as "Room of Doom II")

I believe that's it.

My gameroom has 7 arcade cabinets, an old RGB monitor (for consoles), a television, and a VGA monitor hooked up to my homemade video jukebox. If you want to count the 5" built in monitor on my SX-64 out there, that's 11.

Add in four televisions (living room, den, master bedroom, guest bedroom) and that puts you at 15. Add in three more computer monitors (two in the den and one in wife's office) and that's 18. Throw in my LCD PSOne screen and that's 19. If you wanna count my projector which is always hooked up and usually on, that's a cool 20.

I should buy stock in GE.

Monitors:

2 17" Monitors for the wife's PC and mine.

1 19" in the MAME cab

1 19" and one 17" in the MAME cabs I'm currently building to sell

1 15" on the workbench

1 13" Amiga monitor in my office for gaming

1 5" Portable LCD on the PS2

Tellys:

1 27" in living room

1 13" TV/RGB combo in the library

1 13" in master bedroom

...and I'm just recently short one nice Commodore 1084 monitor I used for gaming as well. My fat dog was squirming through the doggy door and somehow managed to knock over the bench with the C1084 on it which was hooked to the Dreamcast and PS2. This really pissed me off because it had stereo sound whereas the Amiga - despite similar external appearances - is only mono. Stupid fat dog.

I fall into the psychotic 11+ category. I have a TV in my office, our master bedroom, the living room, the basement, my wifes office, and in my room where I stay during the week (travelling between cities). There are PC monitors hooked up in my wifes office, my office, my room I stay in during the week, plus in the basement.

We have a laptop which is used regularly as well. Plus, I have a C64, Vic-20, C128, and Apple Macintosh LC 3, and a Tandy 1000 hooked up in the basement, as well as an RGB monitor I use to test out video game systems.

Now, if I was to count all the ones I have stored away as spares, I'd be in the 20+ category. There are 4 extra TV's sitting under my workbench, and I have a half dozen 13 to 15 inch PC monitors just sitting around.

I personally own a 21" Sony Trinitron monitor, it flips the breaker when I plug it in but after that it seems OK...I don't have any PC connected to it at the moment, though, so it's unplugged and just taking up a lot of room on my desk. Other than that, I use a 33 inch television, and the computer I'm working on right now has a 17 inch monitor (the last PC I used a 15 inch monitor on was the old Win95 machine). I will own another monitor soon :) Since I've decided to postpone my attempts to buy a NeXT system I've got more room to mess around with, but that's sort of like saying if you don't buy a Cray your closet will be less cramped...
