Actually, Achicka's Room (http://www.vidgame.net/room/room.htm) is my favorite after having seen the new pics. I just really like the way it's organized.
Very close second favorite is Flack's game room with the checkered floor and prolific arcade machine's. Flack, I want to come live with you.

Well I do have to say I'm jelous of most of the nice game rooms here considering I'm pretty unorganized myself, Joe wins in my book for overall display and sheer volume of inventory, and sylentwolf definitly gets honorable mention for his custom console shelf..I have tons of consoles and they literally sit on top of each other when not boxed!... yea..it's that bad

I voted achika's because it is very organized and has more shelves then mine. (I have 2 shelves of games and a bookcase full of video game magazines)

I'm always impressed when I see all the stuff people have accumulated and how they organize their space. I wish we'd have a bigger apartment so I can put away neatly my videogame stuff all at the same place, but we only have a one-bedroom apartment. Therefore, my "room of doom" consists in a big Rubbermaid storage container, containing some of my consoles and some of my games, and a TV unit in which I've put my modern consoles (PSone, GameCube) as well as my modern games. The only semblance of real ordiness is the two windowed shelves from that unit, which contain a boxed DK Jr. tabletop, and where are displayed my Defender Entex handheld, my mattel foorball handheld (the 2000 re-release, not the original) and my Tomy Scramble tabletop.
My gameboy, game gear and Game and Watch items are all nicely kept in a Game Gear carry case, which I got for 5 bucks (Can.) at a Microplay.
We'll eventually move into a 2-bedroom apartment (and move out the computers from the living room!) and maybe that extra room will also serve as a mini-room of doom.
Anyway, I just love what Joe has done with his room. As for Achika, for some reason, it reminds me of SlyDC's old room of doom, before he started selling away most of his collection. I remember looking at his boxed stuff and how fascinating it was.

One of these days I will send in some official pix of my room for some Room of Doom, although mine is more like a mini-collection compared to most of those guys. Does everything finally find a place? It seems like I'm constantly moving things around. In the meantime, here's two other pix from the back of the room.
Shelf Of Doom
http://members.cox.net/robohara/pictures/room1.jpg
Top Shelf: Old Pong clone, couple of boxed games (C64 Summer Games!), Super Nintendo disks, random arcade buttons, various Sega Genesis Games.
Next Shelf: Atari 2600 games, NES games, Atari 800 games, boxed Genesis games.
Next Shelf: Atari 2600's: four switch orange, six switch yellow, black "darth vader" style, 2600 jr, and 2 NES units.
Bottom: Odyssey II, Atari 800xl, Atari 5200.
http://members.cox.net/robohara/pictures/room2.jpg
Table of Doom
PSX (modded)
SNES (with console copier)
N64 (with console copier)
Old AMDEK monitor and 13" Color TV
Sega Genesis (with flash cart)
Commodore SX-64
(Not pictured: Amiga 500, more 2600's, more C64's)
One of these days I'm going to have to finish everything and take more pix.

My vote's for Achika's with Joe's a close second.
Me, I have a bookshelf of doom that I'm trying toorganize and arrange for all my collecting stuff (stuff not in my actual room with game systems/play). I'll take some pics and ask for advice later.

Achika also gets my thumbs up, just for the GREAT display stuff all over the place :) I've always considered trying to get a job at ebgames or gamestop JUST so I can bring some sweet display stuff home.
If you EVER want to get rid of that space channel 5 stuff......

Thanks everyone! It's usually clean for the most part until I decide to update my website a bit and I have to rumage through everything and find the thing that need re-pics or that need pics period.
However, being in Joe's house a few times, his Rooms of Doom are damn impressive! Especially when he gives you the go ahead to rifle through his drawers and play whatever you want!
P.S. I'm amazed at how many times my name gets butchered here. LOL

Seriously, I'd also have to say your room is the best. Hell, everyone's room is better than mine, all in number of games, neatness, and... collectiveness... if no one could tell, I'm not a collector. I collect to play. I play when I can. I game. But I'll try to get games to replace my roms someday. :)

I'm going for a wild card here. I'm taking John "swlovinist" Hancock's room. Everything is just so....straight. I mean, it's like the guy takes a ruler an makes sure everything is properly aligned. Don't know how he does it, but I like it.
